Description & Purpose

3.1 The Performance Verification and Endurance Test Procedures for EMCS consist of detailed instructions for test setup, execution and evaluation of test results.

3.2 The Performance Verification and Endurance Test Procedures will be used to assure that the physical and functional requirements of guide specifications are tested and that they are adequately documented.

Application & Interrelationship

7.1 This DID contains the format and content preparation instructions for the Test Procedures required by paragraphs 4.3 and 5.1 of MIL-STD-2203A.

7.2 MIL-STD-2203A must be tailored to exclude those requirements which are not a part of the project specification included in the contract documentation.

7.3 This DID is related to DI-ATTS-80363A, Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) Performance Verification and Endurance Test Plans; DI-ATTS-80365A, Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) Performance Verification and Endurance Test Reports; and DI-ATTS-80366A, Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) Endurance Test Failure Reports.

7.4 This DID supersedes DI-ATTS-80364.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions shall be as specified in the contract.

2Content and format.The Performance Verification and Endurance Test Procedures shall be in accordance with Section 5 of MIL-STD-2203.
