The Programmatic Environmental Safety and Health Evaluation (PESHE) defines how the system implements, follows, maintains, and oversees the environmental planning and compliance with environmental regulations throughout the system service life. The appropriate programmatic considerations and measures, actions, and management in this regard are described within.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirements as delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The PESHE shall be in contractor's format.
2Content.The plan shall contain a title page specifying the following:
2.1Title/identification of the system/component/program.
2.4Preparing activity or contractor's title
2.5Security classification, when required.
2.6Distribution statement
2.7Date of generated document
3.1Roles and responsibilities regarding system safety.
3.2Contractor's procedures for ensuring health and safety standards.
3.3Whether or not the system is in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) throughout the system service life.
3.4Identify the necessary steps needed to mitigate a noncompliance system when applicable.
