Description & Purpose

3.1 The Overhaul Repair Report shall provide repair part consumption data from depot level maintenance.

3.2 This data is utilized in the logistic support of Army material.

Application & Interrelationship

7.1 This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

7.2 This DID will be applied to overhaul or repair contracts only.

7.3 This DID supersedes DI-P-1657.

Preparation Instructions

10.1Media and format.The media and format shall be in accordance with the following:

10.1.1Specific media.The Overhaul Repair Report shall be prepared utilizing 80-column cards.

10.1.2Specific content and format.The Overhaul Repair Report shall contain history data and component item consumption data in the format as follows:

10.1.2.1Repairable item card.This card shall identify items for repair as delineated in the Repair Order as follows: DIC, card col 1-3, entry BT 4. Card Code, card col 4, entry I. Reserved, card col 5, entry Blank. Customer PRON Code, card col 6-19, entry a 14-Character identifier provided by the requestor for each repairable item designated on the Repair Order. Consumption Report Code, card col 20-21, entry FF. Work Accomplishment Code, card col 22-23, entry WAC as provided on the Repair Order (e.g., A, 10, etc.). Perf ACT-CD-MAINT, card col 24-25, entry 96. REL-CD, card col 26, entry use one of the following codes: A Reduced usage -- assets in better than average condition. B Increased usage -- crash or battle damage. C Increased usage -- assets were cannibalized. D Increased usage -- assets excessively deteriorated or damaged. R Reported usage is reliable (within established parameters). QTY-OVHL, card col 27-35, entry Cumulative qty of items repaired. Right justify qty. Zero filled. Reparable Item, card col 36-67, entry National Stock Number (NSN) of item repaired. From Repair Order. Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), card col 68-72, entry If a part number is reported in lieu of an NSN, the part number is entered in CC 36-67, left justified and the CAGE entered CC 68-72. CC 68-72 must be blank if an NSN is reported. Reserved, card col 73-80, entry Blank.

10.1.2.2Repair part usage card.This card shall identify the part used in the repair as follows: DIC, card col 1-3, entry BT 4. Card-CD, card col 4, entry P. Reserved, card col 5, entry Blank. Cust PRON CD, card col 6-19, entry the PRON for the repairable item as designated on the Repair Order on which the repair part was used. Consumption Report Code, card col 20-21, entry FF. Supply Source (PASS), card col 22, entry use one of the following codes: P Requisitioned through normal channels. L Locally procured. F Locally fabricated or manufacturered. J Obtained by cannibalization. Repair Part Qty, card col 23-31, entry Cumulative qty of this repair part consumed. Right justified qty. Zero filled. Unit of Issue, card col 32-33, entry Applicable codes (AR 708-1) Table 7-27. Repair Part, card col 34-65, entry National Stock Number (NSN) of part consumed for PRON in CC 6-19. Left justified. Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE), card col 66-70, entry CAGE - See explanation repairable item card for use of part number. Reserved, card col 71-80, entry Blank.
