This Technical Directive Kit Shipment Report provides information required for the delivery of Technical Directive change kits from kit manufacturers.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the content and preparation instructions for the data generated by the specific task requirement as delineated in the contract.

This DID is applicable to both organic and contractor Technical Directive kit manufacturers.

This DID supersedes DI-MGMT-80771B.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference documents.None.

2Format.The Technical Directive Kit Shipment Report shall be in contractor's format.

3Content.The Technical Directive Kit Shipment Report (TDKSR) shall include the status of Technical Directive change kit manufacturing/assembly tasks.

3.1TDKSR Data Elements.The TDKSR shall include the following data: To: Self-explanatory. From: Self-explanatory. Period: Calendar period covered by report. Contractor/Navy: The activity preparing the report. Contract No. /UIC: Contract number for kit buy or UIC of organic kit manufacturer. Contract Line Item No.: Self-explanatory. ECP No.: Self-explanatory. Technical Directive No.: Self-explanatory. Equipment: Designation (e.g., E-2, F/A-18, F414, ARC-210). Category: Category of the technical directive (Immediate, Urgent, Routine). Subject: Subject of the technical directive. Kit Identification Number (KIN): Each item under order with Kit Identification Number. Report No.: Self-explanatory. Period: Self-explanatory. Procured Quantity: Self-explanatory. Kit Unit Cost: Total cost of the kit (This entry shall be prefixed by "E" when an estimated cost is used and "N" when negotiated cost is used). Destination: Unit Identification Code (UIC) of organization to which kits are shipped or shipping address, if UIC is not assigned. Central Kitting Activity, 235 Industrial Loop, Suite 182, Orange Park, FL 32073, DODAAC N46899. Prior Shipments: Quantity of kits previously shipped under this or other orders and shipping destination. Quantity Shipped: Number of kits shipped during this reporting period. Date Shipped: Calendar date of kit shipment. Government Bill of Landing (GBL): GBL number for kits shipped from commercial activities. Document Number: Document number for kits shipped from organic activities. Delivery Forecast: Delivery forecast for each technical directive kit due but not shipped as of reporting date.

3.2Copies of the monthly and semi-annual reportrequired by this DID shall be submitted to: Commander, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Air Systems Group, Logistics Department, Operating Material and Supplies, Kit Management Branch, AB33500, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland 20670. This information shall be reflected on the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Form 1423.
