The Acquisition Support documentation shall be developed to provide material related to supporting the acquisition office by preparing acquisition documentation in relationship to an acquisition package. Acquisition documents shall be procured when requiring a contractor to assist with developing DoD Acquisition packages.

Preparation Instructions

1Contract.This data item is generated by the contract which contains a specific and discrete work task to develop this data product.

2Content.The Acquisition documents shall be developed by the contractor to include, but not limited to i.e., Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, Proposal Preparation Instructions, and Award Fee Plans, etc. Content information for the acquisition documents shall be reviewed and approved by the procuring activity.

3Format.The format for the Acquisition Documents shall be in contractors format unless otherwise specified by the DD 1423, or the COR.
