The Validation Completion Report provides certification that contractor validation of technical manuals has been accomplished.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for data generated under the work task described in the contract and Appendix D of NSA DS-56, Data Standard for the Preparation of INFOSEC Technical Manuals.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference Documents.The applicable issue of the document cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as stated herein. DS-56, Data Standard for the Preparation of COMSEC Technical Manuals, current edition, is available at the National Security Agency, 9800 Savage Rd, Suite 6718, Fort Meade, Md. 20755-6718; Attn: I5222.

2Format.The Validation Completion Report shall be in the contractor's format.

3Content.The contractor shall provide a report for each technical manual in accordance with Appendix D of NSA DS-56.
