The Demand Only Transactions Report will be used to verify recording of Demand Only Transactions data usage.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the contract.

This DID supersedes DI-MGMT-81806C.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference Documents.The applicable issue of documents cited herein, including approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract. Reference cited in DID can be obtained from Navy Department Naval Supply Systems Command, 5450 Carlisle Pike, P.O. Box 2050, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055-0791.

2Format.The Demand Only Transactions Report shall be in accordance with NAVSUP-P-485 Volume I - Afloat Supply, paragraph 03057 interim change 16-002.

3Content.The Report shall include a title page identifying the following: a. Title; b. Identification of the system; c. Component; d. Program; e. Project; f. Period covered by the report; g. Contract number; h. Preparing activity or contractor's title and telephone number.

3.1The Demand Only Transactions (demand transaction document identification (DI DHA)) Report shall identify all stock numbered items purchased through local purchase, manufacture, or repair.

3.2The Report shall contain Demand Only Transactions of purchase of non-NSN material (DI BHJ) and shall identify non-stock numbered items that were fulfilled through local purchase or manufacture actions.

3.3The report shall contain a summary of the data collected for DI DHA and DI BHJ Demand Only Transactions specified in NAVSUP-P-485, Volume I and shall include the following:

3.3.1Total number of MILSTRAP DI DHA transactions for the period of the report

3.3.2Total number of MILSTRAP DI BHJ transactions for the period of the report

3.3.3Summary of any MILSTRAP submission issues

3.3.4Microsoft (MS) Office Excel spreadsheet a listing of the data fields required per NAVSUP-P-485 03057 for each transaction (individual data fields will be the columns, each DI DHA/BHJ transaction will be a row) submitted during the reporting period shall be an attachment to the report

3.3.5Graphs reflecting the total DI DHA and DI BHJ transactions for the reporting period and the previous two reporting periods

3.4Media Requirement.The Demand Only Transaction Report shall be presented in MS Office Suite, Word version 2003-2010.
