The Diver Hull Inspection Report will be used to record the results of the underwater inspection conducted in conjunction with tasks assigned by the contract.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and preparation instructions for the data product resulting from the work task specified in the contract.

1Reference Documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendment, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.

2Format and Content.The Diver's Hull Inspection Report shall be in accordance with NAVSEA Underwater Ship Husbandry Manual, Chapter 17, Inspections, S0600-AA-PRO-170, Revision 2 and NAVSEA Form 4730 (series).

3Media RequirementsThe Diver Hull Inspection Report media shall be in Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
