This DID will be used to provide results of each compartment inspection, including discrepancies found, and provides objective quality evidence (OQE) for the work accomplished within the compartment.

This DID contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Format.The report shall be in the contractor's format.

2Content.The report shall contain the following information:

2.1Name and hull number of ship

2.2Job Order

2.3Work Item

2.4Paragraph numbers including standard item paragraph number

2.5Compartment (number and name)

2.6Date of inspection

2.7List of discrepancies and the identity of the Contractor responsibility and Government responsibility

2.8Signature of Contractor representative

2.9Signature of SUPERVISOR

2.10Signature of Commanding Officer's designated representative
