This DID will identify each compartment where work has been completed and work that remains to be accomplished.
This DID contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The report shall be in the contractor's format.
2Content.The report shall contain the following information:
2.1A list of each compartment where work has been completed and work that remains to be accomplished.Include each compartment number and name and any work not completed by the Work Item number.
2.2A brief summary of the work that remains to be accomplished by the contractor.
2.3Any impact that known Ship's Force work will have on the contractor.
2.4The date when the contractor expects to complete his work within each compartment.Highlight major trouble spots.
2.5Index the compartment closeout schedule by compartment number listing the page number of where the information about the compartment can be located.
2.6The Report shall provide for completion of the following compartments, including associated machinery, equipment, electrical, alarm, control, piping, and ventilation systems, prior to the crew move aboard milestone date:
2.6.1Messing, berthing, and living compartments, including galley, scullery, pantry, mess decks, walk-in freezer, chill and thaw boxes, dry provisions and breakout storerooms, wardroom, CPO mess, berthing compartments, staterooms, lounges, wash rooms, water closets and showers, laundry, and associated access routes and passageways that have had other than cable installation performed.
2.6.2Refrigeration and air conditioning machinery rooms.
2.6.3CHT machinery spaces and tanks.
2.6.4Medical and dental spaces
