The Task Closure Record Request provides a permanent and static record of the contractor's accomplishments under the task, and NSWC, Corona approval thereof.
This data item description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The Task Closure Record Request shall be presented using NSWC approved contractor format.
2Content.The Task Closure Record Request shall include a request to close the task. It shall include the following:
2.1Contractor Site Manager's signature and shall be addressed to the government on site manager.
2.2Task number and title, work order number, and table that shows a list of deliverables.
2.3Indication of completion of each item in the task request, or an explanation of why the item was not completed.
2.4A summary of all costs incurred in the completion of the task, including labor, materials, subcontract fees, etc.
2.5A certification from the contractor's Engineering Manager that any resulting configuration changes have been recorded in accordance with the Engineering and Configuration Management Plan.
2.6A request for approval to the government's on site manager to close the task, and a summary of the task's information (task number, title, and work order number).
2.7Attachments that include screen shots of cost information, e-mail messages, etc. when applicable.
