The Life Cycle Management Plan will be used to document the Life Cycle Management (LCM) strategy for the Continuous Training Environment (CTE) program.

This data item description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Format.The Life Cycle Management Plan shall be in contractor's format.

2Content.The Life Cycle Management Plan shall contain the life cycle strategy for the Continuous Training Environment (CTE) program.

2.1The plan shall also contain recommendations, planning, and cost analysis for the management of equipment, including the following:

2.1.1Repair

2.1.2Maintenance

2.1.3Scheduling

2.1.4Coordination

2.1.5Assignment

2.1.6Configuration of all required assets

2.1.7System upgrades

2.1.8Refreshes for all CTE systems and equipment

2.2The plan shall also include a page that identifies recommended change(s) and update(s) to the LCM Plan for technical, schedule, and budgetary reasons and specify the following:

2.2.1Government CTE Life Cycle Manager name

2.2.2Description of the recommended change(s)

2.2.3Reason(s) for the recommendation

2.2.4Any technical implications of the change

2.2.5Impact statements if recommended change(s) not implemented
