The Technical Assist Visit Report will provide the Government with engineering analysis findings identified by the technical representatives. It will provide immediate reporting of failure and subsequent details and corrective action recommendations.

This data item description (DID) contains format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Format.The report shall be the contractor's format

2Content.The report shall contain the following sections:

2.1Equipment analyzed

2.2JSN

2.3CASREP information, if applicable

2.4Start Date

2.5End Date

2.6Identity of the SWRMC Technician performing the analysisname, grade, rank and email address

2.7Identity of the SHIPS Technician performing the analysisname, grade, rank, and email address.

2.8Identity of the person that will be providing the out briefname, grade, rank and email address.

2.9Report deficiencies.Identify all deficiencies found on the applicable equipment analyzed

2.10The report shall include all findingsand include detailed recommendations for corrections to the problem(s) found.

2.11The report shall identify all planned maintenance system (PMS) checks made.

2.12All applicable technical reference documents needed for use of each repair shall be specified.

2.13List the total amount of training that shall be requiredinclude skill levels, and appropriate FTEs needed.
