The Repair of Repairables Report is used to track parts usage, categorize failures, identify test failures, quantify No Fault Found instances, document repair turn-around time, and link repaired items to removal.

Data is used to track parts usage; categorize failures; identify test failures; quantify instances of NFF (No Fault Found); document RTAT (Repair Turn-Around Time) and link repaired items back to removal from the end item.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The Repair of Repairables Report shall be in contractor format.
2Content.The report shall contain the following sections:
2.1Contract Information.This section shall include the following:
2.1.2Contract CLIN / CDRL / TI
2.1.3Calendar reporting period covered by the report.
2.1.4Repair facility name.
2.1.5Repair facility address (including city, state, and zip code).
2.1.6Repair CAGE (repair facility's Commercial and Government Entity Code).
2.2UUT (Unit Under Test) information.This section shall include the following information for each unit repaired and any inducted for repair during the reporting period:
2.2.1Repair ID (repair facility's unique repair number)
2.2.2NIIN/NSN (National Item Identification Number or National Stock Number).
2.2.3Part Description (Name/Nomenclature).
2.2.4P/N (full part number)
2.2.5Ref Des (Reference Designator).
2.2.6S/N (complete, unabbreviated Serial Number).
2.2.7NHA P/N (Part Number of Next Higher Assembly)
2.2.8NHA Ref Des (Ref Des of Next Higher Assembly)
2.2.9NHA S/N (Serial Number of Next Higher Assembly)
2.2.10Date Received (date unit was received/inducted for repair).
2.2.11Source (organization which submitted unit for repair).
2.3Field Failure Data.This section shall include the following:
2.3.1Government JCN (Job Control Number from MAF)
2.3.2BUNO (System/Ship/Aircraft Serial Number)
2.3.3Failure Date (date failed/removed from System/Ship/Aircraft)
2.3.4Indications (failure explanation and codes provided with unit)
2.4Test Results.This section shall include the following:
2.4.1Incoming Software/Firmware Revision
2.4.2Incoming Test Type and Result
2.4.3Interim or Diagnostic Test Type and Results
2.4.4Final Test Type and Result
2.5Repair Information.This section shall include the following:
2.5.1UUT Operating Hours (Elapsed Time Indicator)
2.5.2Repair Status (Pending, Open, Complete, Shipped)
2.5.3Parts and Material (list for each component repaired/replaced)
2.5.4P/N (full Part Number)
2.5.8S/N (if serialized, full Serial Number)
2.6Repair Narrative.This section shall list individual actions during the repair process by date in chronological order and shall include the following info:
2.6.2Action (Received, Transferred, Shipped, Repaired, Replaced, Tested, RTV)
2.6.3Action Narrative.Provide complete and thorough details.
2.7Additional Actions.This section shall list all actions performed not directly related to the failure and shall include the following:
2.8Post Repair Information.This section shall include the following:
2.8.1Shipped (date unit was shipped out of repair facility).
2.8.2Destination (location to which unit was shipped).
