The After Action Report (AAR) provides information after each mission event. This will provide the government the capability to capitalize on successes, identify areas for improvement and take appropriate action to improve the overall quality of support in meeting the Fleet's Training Objectives through effective application of range systems, assets, and capabilities.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains content, preparation instructions and intended use information for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Format.The Report shall be in contractor's format.

2Content.The Report shall contain the following:

2.1Provide breakdown of support elements with an evaluation of the effectiveness and performance rating for each element

2.2Provide results of the initial post impressions and event analysis

2.3Provide technical and operational assessment that describes areas of success and areas for improvement

2.4Provide root cause analysis results for all support issues or failures in operations and mission support
