This report provides the government with visibility of specified end items undergoing repair, overhaul and / or modification at commercial contractor facilities.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data product resulting from the work task described by the contract SOW.

This DID supersedes DI-MGMT-82263.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.

2FormatContractor Format Acceptable.

3Content.

3.1The report content shall be as follows:

3.1.1Contract Number.

3.1.2Contracted quantity for each National Stock Number (NSN) item.

3.1.3Current quantity on hand for each NSN item.

3.1.4Work in process quantity on each NSN item.

3.1.5Quantity completed to date on each NSN item.

3.1.6Unserviceable on hand quantity on each NSN item.

3.1.7Identification and explanation of delays, accelerations, and problems.

3.2The following is required for Repair/Overhaul of each end item*

3.2.1Date Received.

3.2.2Inducted Part Number (P/N)Enter up to 32 characters, identifying the inducted part.

3.2.3Inducted NSNEnter 13 digits.

3.2.4Component Serial NumberEnter up to 10 alphanumeric characters identifying the component being repaired.

3.2.5Date Inducted.

3.2.6Date Completed.

3.2.7StatusIndicate Repair Complete, Repair In-Work or Unable to Repair/Condemned. Amplifying Remarks.

3.2.8Shipment Date.

3.2.9Shipment Tracking Info

3.3The following is required when performing incorporation of a technical directive (TD) / modification*

3.3.1Date Received.

3.3.2Inducted Part Number (P/N)Enter up to 32 characters, identifying the inducted part.

3.3.3Inducted NSNEnter 13 digits.

3.3.4Component Serial NumberEnter up to 10 alphanumeric characters identifying the component being modified.

3.3.5Produced P/NEnter up to 32 characters, identifying the produced part number, when a TD resulted in a P/N change, if applicable.

3.3.6Produced NSNEnter 13 digits, when a TD P/N change resulted in new/different NSN. Date Inducted.

3.3.7Date Completed.

3.3.8StatusIndicate Modification Complete, Modification In-Work or Unable to Modify/Condemned.

3.3.9Amplifying Remarks.

3.3.10Shipment Date.

3.3.11Shipment Tracking Info.
