The Daily Shift Log displays the contractors' effort towards achieving contract objectives. It is a log of work accomplished during the applicable shift. The Log includes any information or tasks that may need to be addressed by the next shift or the Government point of contact (POC), and any additional data that is requested.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference Documents.None.

2Format.The Daily Shift Log shall be in the contractor's format.

3Content.The Daily Shift Log shall contain the following:

3.1Names of contractor personnel on shift.

3.2Log of telephone, email, or in person contacts made to external organizations.

3.3Security check verificationindicating that applicable classified material handling security checks have been accomplished, if classified material has been accessed or is stored in the work area, or if Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) workstations or printers are present and utilized. If no classified material, SIPRNet workstations, or SIPRNet printers are present, this section of the Log shall be marked as not applicable (N/A).

3.4Date and time of event(s)to include: highlights of the past shift, work tempo and completion, anomalies in data, issues, contacts from ports, Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) outages and requests for manual manifesting assistance, Customs and Border Patrol passenger vetting, and Department of Homeland Security contagious disease passenger screening.

3.5Meeting minutes from any meetings throughout the dayto include:

3.5.1.1Decisions made (e.g., motions made, votes, etc.)

3.5.1.2Next steps planned

3.5.1.3Action items

3.5.1.4Positive or negative impacts to the Remote Manifesting Resolution Center (RMRC) operations
