Description & Purpose

This report informs the Government of utility system or equipment outages or reduced mission capability. It provides a data base for management decisions about utilities supporting the mission of a unit.

Application & Interrelationship

7.1 This data item description contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

7.2 This data item may be applied in any contract for the Operation and Maintenance of utility systems and equipment.

7.3 This DID supersedes DI-MISC-80279.

7.4 A copy of the reference document cited below may be obtained as specified in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference document.The applicable issue of the document cited herein, including its approval date and dates of any applicable revisions and changes shall be as specified in the contract.

2Format and content.The report shall be on DD Form 173, Joint Message Form. Refer to AFSPACECOM Regulation 91-1, Utilities Outage and Status Report, for guidance in preparation of the report.
