Description & Purpose

The evaluation report is used by the contractor to document locally conducted attack response exercises (ARE), major accident response exercises (MARE) and natural disaster response exercises (NDRE) as applicable. The report is used by the government to evaluate the extent and content of the exercise.

This data item description contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

10.1Format.The report shall be by letter and in the contractor's format.

10.2Content.The report shall contain the following data:

10.2.1Standard letter heading (From, To, Subject).

10.2.2Name of installation, date of exercise and type of exercise.

10.2.3Details of the evaluation to include objectives, exercise situation, time of initiation, time of termination, and location.

10.2.4Summary of findings and ratings for mandatory areas of evaluation for ARE, MARE and NDRE (List agency office of primary responsibility (OPR)).

10.2.5Statement that each agency OPR with a finding will reply in writing within ten workdays stating specific action taken to correct deficiencies and estimated completion date.

10.2.6Signature block of the installation exercise evaluation chief.
