Description & Purpose
The Specifications and Standards Usage Report provides information on the utilization of specifications and standards so that appropriate interest in the documents can be included in coordination of all proposals to revise or cancel the documents.
Application & Interrelationship
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.
This DID supersedes DI-E-1106B.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2Format.The Specifications and Standards Usage Report format shall be contractor selected. Unless effective presentation would be degraded, the initially used format arrangement shall be used for all subsequent submissions.
3Content.The Specifications and Standards Usage Report shall contain the following:
3.1Department of Defense specifications and standards.Identification of all documents listed in the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards (DODISS) selected for use on the contract.
3.2Proposed specifications and standards.Identification of all specifications and standards proposed for preparation under the contract.
3.3Multiple-use program peculiar specifications.Identification of all multiple-use program peculiar specifications as defined in MIL-STD-490 selected for use on the contract.
3.4Exceptions to specifications and standards.Identification of all drawings, Military Specification Exceptions as defined in DOD-STD-35, and program peculiar specifications which delineate exceptions, additions, or deletions to DODISS documents.
3.5Standardization Agreements (STANAGS) and Quadripartite Standardization Agreements (QSTAGS).Identification of all STANAGS and QSTAGS selected for use on the contract.
