Description & Purpose
The Technical Data Package Review Report specifies deficiencies or improvements in technical data packages that must be corrected prior to start of production or prior to release of data for other authorized use. The report shall serve as a basis for monitoring the submission of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
Application & Interrelationship
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract. Submission of this report does not waive the requirement for the submission of an ECP. This DID supersedes DI-E-1127.

10PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
10.1Format.The Technical Data Package Review Report format shall be contractor selected. Unless effective presentation would be degraded, the initially used format arrangement shall be used for all subsequent submissions.
10.2Content.The Technical Data Package Review Report content shall certify as to the following:
10.2.1Adequacy and accuracy of drawing dimensions, fits and tolerances.
10.2.2Adequacy and accuracy of all mechanical and electrical circuitry.
10.2.3Adequacy of test procedures to assure conformity with requirements.
10.2.4Overall completeness and adequacy of all documentation for manufacturing purposes.
10.2.5Adequacy and accuracy of supplementary quality assurance provisions.
10.2.6Error listing.The report shall list the documentation found to be in error and unsatisfactory for the production and test of the item. When errors are found in the documentation, the report shall list the document by nonmenclature (e.g., number, title, revision level, date), provide a description of the error and specify the reason for the proposed change. When extensive changes are applicable to a drawing/document, a marked up copy of the drawing/document shall be attached.
10.2.7Contractor statement.The report shall include a statement that the contractor has ascertained that all of the Technical Data Package documentation, with the proposed changes, are adequate for production.
