Description & Purpose

3.1 The Reliability Qualified Items List identifies items used, or intended for use, in a system which, through tests, have met the specified design qualification requirements.

3.2 This list establishes a base for the items that are reliability qualified for use.

Application & Interrelationship

7.1 This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

7.2 This DID supersedes DI-R-1733.

Preparation Instructions

10.1Format.The Reliability Qualified Items List format shall be contractor selected. Unless effective presentation would be degraded, the initially used format arrangement shall be used for all subsequent submissions.

10.2Content.The Reliability Qualified Items List content shall be prepared and maintained current as a list of items that have been reliability qualified for use. This list shall consist of those materials, parts, components, assemblies, or modifications thereto, etc., which through tests, have met the specified design qualification requirements. The environmental limits, stresses etc., to which the item has been successfully subjected shall be provided as a part of the list.
