The Flash Report provides general test results within 24 hours of completion of a test. This report is required to keep the recipients abreast of test progress and test trends, so that test logic can be monitored and any required direction can be given in a timely manner.
a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.
b. This DID supersedes DI-MISC-80760.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The Flash Report format shall be contractor selected. The initially used format arrangement shall be used for all subsequent submissions.
2Content.The Flash Report shall contain the following:

2.2Complete identification of the item's configuration under test
2.3Date test completed
2.4Test objective(s)
2.5Preliminary observations
