The System Flights/Readiness Status Information Report is used to report status and activities of target operations, assess readiness of targets materiel, record maintenance activities and problems, and document actions and recommendations.

Description & Purpose
3.1 The System Flights/Readiness Status Information Report is used for reporting status and activities of target operations.
3.2 The report assesses the readiness of targets materiel in use; establishes a record of maintenance activities and problems identified along with solutions; and documents actions pending and recommendations made.
Application & Interrelationship
7.1 This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
10.1Format.The System Flights/Readiness Status Information Report format shall be contractor selected. Unless effective presentation would be degraded, the initially used format arrangement shall be used for all subsequent submissions.
10.2Content.The System Flights/Readiness Status Information Report shall contain the following:
10.2.1Effort expended in support of test operations.
10.2.2Quality control information on frequency and type of problems associated with major items and repair parts of system equipment; unresolved problems along with recommendation for remedial action; items of special interest based on quality audits, surveys, investigations, and visits.
10.2.3Identity of targets (serial number, location, and condition status).
10.2.4Target engine run-ups and maintenance repair actions by target and engine serial number.
10.2.5Copies of Target Tracking and Control System (TTCS) weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational preventive maintenance checks performed in accordance with applicable documentation (i.e., technical manuals, standard operating procedures, etc.).
10.2.6All preventive and corrective repair actions on TTCS and associated peculiar test equipment.Information shall include:
10.2.6.1Equipment Identification (TTCS, digital code generator, etc.) and serial number.
10.2.6.2System elapsed time meter reading and subsystem meter reading.
10.2.6.4Nomenclature of assembly, sub-assembly, to component failure item.
10.2.6.5Failure circumstances (i.e., bench check, pre-flight, launch, flight, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks).
10.2.6.6Description of failure with cause analysis.
10.2.6.7Time required to troubleshoot.
10.2.6.9Time required to repair.
10.2.6.10Equipment downtime.
10.2.6.11Improvement recommendations.
10.2.6.13Publications and procedures.
10.2.7Inspection, condition, and repairs to target associated ground support equipment, including tools and test equipment.
10.2.8Unusual events and activities (security, weather, excessive corrosion, mold, mildew, etc.).
10.2.9Problems encountered and recommended solutions.
10.2.10Lists of official visitors to contractor and subcontractor facilities, indicating purpose and duration of visit.
10.2.11Lists of significant technical memoranda, plans, reports, or other material describing contract efforts.
10.2.12Lists of significant decisions, material, etc., requested by the Government which are pending; significant requests placed on the contractor by the Government which are pending with status and expected reply date.
10.2.13Lists of requirement computations completed, results, order placement dates, priority of need, and current status.
10.2.14Identification of stock shortage items with projected zero balance dates.
10.2.15Lists of summary flight services data pertaining to flights occurring during the reporting period as follows:
10.2.15.1Target configuration and augmentation.
10.2.15.5Target serial number.
10.2.15.6Number of presentations.
10.2.15.7Flight altitude.
10.2.15.10Target retrieval.
10.2.15.11Target condition.
10.2.15.12Number of previous flights on the target recovery system.
10.2.15.13Flight rating (satisfactory or unsatisfactory).
10.2.15.14Target loss (kill, operational loss).Explanation for loss and remarks concerning target operations.
10.2.15.15Operational loss rate and satisfactory flight rate total percentages for the reporting month, each quarter and at the end of each fiscal year of the contract.
10.2.15.16Remaining flights available for the fiscal year for each target system.
10.2.15.17Problems encountered, recommended solutions, and uneventful circumstances, such as weather, performance, terrain, etc.
