Provides the Government with Print or Broadcast Media Personnel Recruitment Advertisements that may be used on the mass media to recruit personnel.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

This DID is used in conjunction with DI-MISC-81311A Personnel Recruitment Advertisement and supersede DI-MISC-81312.

When this DID is applied in a contract, Block 8 of the DD form 1423 will indicate that Government approval is required. The approval will be for content.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference documents.None.

2Format.The Collateral Personnel Recruitment Literature shall be in any of the wide variety of forms specified in the contract that most appropriately supports the specific recruitment advertisement programs being emphasized by the Government.

3Content.When required in the contract, Collateral Personnel Recruitment Literature for specific recruitment advertisements shall address the following career fields as appropriate:

3.1Engineering.

3.2Computer science.

3.3Foreign languages.

3.4Mathematics.

3.5Operations research.

3.6Telecommunications.

3.7Cryptology.

3.8Various management support functions.
