The purchase order and supplier surveillance data will enable the Government to monitor contractor-furnished equipment and the supplier industrial base.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation and resulting contract, and is applicable to the acquisition of military ships, systems, equipment, and facilities.

2Format.Purchase Order and Supplier Surveillance Data shall be in contractor format.
3Content.The Purchase Order and Supplier Surveillance Data shall include the following information:
3.1Material purchase order data elementsFor all contractor-furnished parts and/or material required to build one end-item supplied by the prime contractor (e.g., a ship), the following data shall be provided:
3.1.1Platform (e.g., DDG 52)
3.1.3Shipyard supplier number
3.1.4Supplier address (street address, city, state, and zip)
3.1.6Critical supplier (Yes/No)
3.1.7Purchase order number
3.1.8Purchase order line number
3.1.9Purchase order issue date
3.1.10Purchase order revision number
3.1.11Purchase order revision date
3.1.13Number of suppliers solicited
3.1.14Number of bids received
3.1.15Award Basis (sole source, lowest bid, etc.)
3.1.16PO type (cost plus, fixed price, long-term agreement)
3.1.17Part number (shipyard part number)
3.1.18Part number (supplier/manufacturer part number)

3.2.5Percent of revenue from DoD
