This Data will be used by the Government to acknowledge the issuance by the contractor or equipment vendor of new information on maintenance problems and/or procedures recommended to be implemented on the contractor's or vendor's equipment.

a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement for this data included in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1Format and Content.The service bulletins shall be presented in the Contractor's format and shall contain the following information:

1.1Changes that effect equipment operating or maintenance procedures.

1.2Changes to equipment configurations from component parts to full assemblies.

1.3Revision of circuit modules, in Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE), and the purpose of the change and availability of the circuit module.It shall also include any impacts on form-fit of hardware and software.

1.4Any potential safety hazards not previously identified.
