The Craft Status Report provides periodic status of test performance or test documentation development, to assist in assessing test program progress, and to identify potential problem areas.
a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task required as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions
1Format.The Craft Test Status Report shall be presented in the Contractor's format.
2Content.The Craft Test Status Report shall include:
2.1Title/Cover Sheet.The Title/Cover Sheet shall include:
2.1.4Consecutive report number
2.1.5Contractor name and address
2.2Introduction and Summary Narrative.The Introduction and Summary Narrative shall contain an introduction to and an explanation of the report, major test program milestones completed since the last report, discussion of problems which may affect scheduled completion of the test program, and other pertinent remarks. It shall include the reason(s) why the test were not started or completed on schedule and impact of the test schedule, craft completion data, or both. Discussion of problems should refer to Test Change Proposals (TCP's) (DI-MISC-81621) and Test Problem Reports (TPR's) (DI-MISC-81622) whenever they are applicable.
2.3Graphic Summary.The Graphic Summary shall provide a graphic representation of planned and actual completion of tests, milestone events and documentation, and the type of report being prepared.
2.4Report Body.The Craft Test Status Report shall include the status of test conduct for all tests which will be performed at the contractor's facility or under his direction. Government test performance shall be included if they impact or could impact the completion of contractual requirements. The body of the report shall contain:
2.4.1Total Number of tests to be accomplished.
2.4.2Tests scheduled to start.
2.4.3Tests actually started.
2.4.4Tests scheduled to complete.
2.4.5Tests actually completed.
2.4.6Tests scheduled to complete but not completed.
2.4.7Tests scheduled to start but not started.
2.4.8Tests scheduled to start during the next reporting period.
2.4.9Tests scheduled to complete during the next reporting period.
