The Contractual Shipping Documentation DID will provide the Government with the information needed to help the Item Management inspect and manage the program.
Preparation Instructions
1Format.The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall be in the Contractor's format.
2Content.The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall contain and identify:
2.1Ship name and hull number
2.2List of applicable Schedule "A" numbers, nomenclature and quantity.
2.3National Stock Numbers
2.4Serial and Part Numbers.
2.5A complete inventory of all GFE provided at a level of detail that includes discrete individual cabinets, components, interface devices, kits and other individually packaged items.
2.6List of all applicable Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) changes.
2.7Itemized list of all Shipped Short items at the Schedule "A" level along with the estimated delivery dates.
2.8Disposition instructions for any material that the shipyard is expected to return, such as shipping reels or containers.
3The Contractual Shipping Documentation shall also include:
3.1Government Bill of Lading (GBL) Number.
3.2Carrier Name and assigned Tracking Number (Pro-number) and phone number.
3.3Date the GFE was shipped and estimated arrival date to the shipyard for each shipment.
3.4All loose parts and the contents of each kit shall be listed in detail to show accurate inventory at the shipyard receiving warehouse.
