The Maintenance Data Collection Record (MDCR) documents maintenance actions relating to correction of malfunctions, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and configuration status. The MDCR is used by the Government to aid in the effective management of weapon systems and equipment.

a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.

b. This DID is applicable to maintenance performed by contractors on weapon systems and equipment which is required to be reported to a maintenance data collection system.

c. This DID is used in conjunction with DI-MGMT-81325, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) Reporting.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2Format.Format shall be similar to Figures 1 through 4.
3Content.Content shall be identical to the requirements listed in the applicable figures. See TO 00-20-2, Maintenance Data Documentation, for guidance on preparing the MDCR. (Copies of this document are available online at http://www.tinker.af.mil/technicalorders/.)
