To monitor and evaluate contractor's progress and accomplishments in conducting the maintainability program for the applicable contract end item(s).
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2Content.Each report shall include all the information required by Paragraph 103.2 of MIL-STD-470.
2.1The work accomplished and results obtained on each task defined by the contractor's approved Maintainability Program Plan.
2.2Summaries of the status of previously reported problems which were unresolved at the close of the last reporting period.
2.3A list of current problems containing:
2.3.1A serial number assigned to identify the problem.
2.3.2The date on which the problem was first detected.
2.3.3A short statement identifying the problem and its effect.
2.3.4The activity assigned to work on the problem.
2.3.5The expected resolution and date to be achieved.
2.3.6A short statement of accomplishment to-date or a cross-reference to other reports.
2.3.7The date the problem was resolved.
2.4A specific accounting of each design review action item remaining open at the end of the last report period including a full description of the action taken on each item.
2.5Identification of observed potential maintainability problems introduced by Government-furnished equipment and descriptions of accommodations or improvement changes deemed necessary to make such equipment compatible.
3Graphic discussion.The report shall include a graphic discussion of trends. A breakdown to the configuration item level shall be made in the following maanner: See actual DID for details.
4Proposed changes.The report shall include proposed changes to the Maintainability Program Plan (as applicable).
5Final Status Report.The Final Status Report can be identified as the Program Summary Report.
6Format.The report shall be prepared in accordance with ANSI Z39.18, "Scientific and Technical Reports: Organization, Preparation,and Production".
