Packaging Test Report

Description & Purpose
3.1 The Packaging Test Report provides a description of each packaging test sample, packaging test, test sequence, and interpretation of test results including failures and corrective actions taken.
3.2 The Packaging Test Report is used to evaluate the results of packaging tests.
Application & Interrelationship
7.1 This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirements as delineated in the contract.
7.2 The Packaging Test Report is related to the following DIDs:
a. Packaging Plan DI-PACK-80455
b. Packaging Test Plan DI-PACK-80456
c. Packaging Cost Analysis DI-PACK-80458
Preparation Instructions
10.1Format.The Packaging Test Report shall be in contractor's format.
10.2Content.The Packaging Test Report content shall be as follows:
10.2.1Title Page.The title page shall include the contractor's name and address; contract number; project number; security classification; item, equipment or purchase description identification; and document title.
10.2.2Identification.Identify each system, subsystem, equipment, assembly, item, and component which was tested.
10.2.3References.Identify applicable references.
10.2.4Test Description.Describe each test sample and test conducted. Include both raw and derived data. Identify test sequence.
10.2.5Test Results.Describe and interpret the test results including failures. For each failure, describe the corrective actions taken with regard to the test sample and contents.
10.2.6Signatures, Titles, and Dates.The Packaging Test Report and revisions shall contain the signature and title of the contractor's authorized inspector, the contractor's authorized representative, and the Government's authorized representative and shall include the dates on which the signatures were affixed.
