The Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Quality Assurance (QA) Check Sheet provides the minimum record-keeping requirements for the developing activity to administer a quality assurance program, thereby ensuring the quality, technical accuracy, composition and graphic quality are consistent with applicable technical instructions.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, preparation instructions and intended use information for the data product resulting from the work task described in Appendix C of MIL-STD-3034A.
This DID is related to DI-PSSS-80986B, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) Maintenance Requirement Index (MRI); DI-PSSS-80991B, Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC); DI-PSSS-80992B, Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Maintenance Index Page (MIP).
This DID supersedes DI-MNTY-80993.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference Documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2Format.The PMS QA Check Sheet shall be in a format similar to that of the sample form of Figure 1 of this DID.
3Content.The PMS QA Check Sheet shall contain all of the information specified in the sample form of Figure 1 of this DID and as specified in MIL-STD-3034A, Appendix C.
3.1System/Equipment.Enter the nomenclature of the system, subsystem, equipment, as applicable.
3.2MIP Series.Enter the Maintenance Index Page (MIP) series identification.
3.3MRC Number.Enter the identification number of the applicable MRC.
3.4Checked By Column.Enter the initials of the personnel performing the quality assurance check for each item of documentation that was inspected in 4 below.
3.5Date Column.Enter the date each item of documentation which was inspected by the personnel performing the quality assurance check in 4 below.
4Quality Assurance Checks.The following quality assurance checks, as specified in the sample form of Figure 1 of this DID concern MIL-STD-3034A procedure areas:
