The Logistics Composite Model Analysis Toolkit (LCOM ATK) Study Input Report shall describe the inputs required to construct an LCOM study for a program office, detailing all ground rules and assumptions, data sources, component reliabilities, resource requirements, maintenance task networks, and flight line operational flows.
a. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data product resulting from the work described in the contract.
b. This DID is used in conjunction with DI-PSSS-82054, Logistics Composite Model Analysis Toolkit (LCOM ATK) Study.

Preparation Instructions
1Reference documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2Format.The LCOM ATK Study Input Plan shall be in the following format:
2.1The report shall be typewritten in Microsoft Word Format.
2.2Text shall be prepared for printing on standard letter size paper (8 1/2 x 11").
2.3Attachments shall be fully identified and referenced in the text (for example, large tables submitted in Microsoft Excel format).
2.4Security classification and distribution marking shall conform to the requirements of the contract.
3Content.The LCOM ATK Study Input Plan shall contain the following:
3.1Title Page.Identifies the report by providing contract number, project name or purchase description title, task number, and reporting period.
3.8Modeling Assumptions including, but not limited to:
3.8.2Resources Assumptions, including, but not limited to:
3.8.2.2USAF maintainer manpower.
3.8.2.3Contractor manpower.
3.8.2.4USAF operator manpower.
3.8.2.6Support equipment.
3.8.3Maintenance Task Networks:
3.8.3.1Scheduled maintenance.
3.8.3.2Unscheduled maintenance:
3.8.3.2.1Logistics Delay Time (LDT) (maintainer).
3.8.3.2.2Repair Turn-Around-Time (TAT) assumptions.
3.8.3.2.3Minimum Essential Subsystems List (MESL) (or equivalent):
3.8.3.2.3.1Incorporate into LCOM ATK model.
