The Training Systems Utilization Report (TSUR) provides the data necessary to determine the cost benefit of training, cost avoidance, track training efficiencies, operational availability of training systems, and enhance training records. The TSUR contains the training data required perform analyses of the training accomplished.
a. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.
b. It is not intended that all the requirements contained herein be applied to every program or program phase. Government may tailor or delete portions or individual data requirements of this DID as needed.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference Documents.None.
2Format.The TSUR shall be delivered in MS Excel. The format shall be approved by the Government. The approved format shall be used for all subsequent submissions. Revisions to format shall be approved by the Government.
3Content.The TSUR shall contain the following training data:
3.1Training Events & Exercises
3.1.2System/Training Name/Identifier utilized for training
3.1.4Number of trainees trained (per device as applicable)
3.1.5Total hours operated (per device as applicable)
3.1.7Units trainedIdentify which units received training
3.1.8Weapons utilizedIdentify which weapons are utilized in training per training event
3.1.9Ammo utilizedIdentify ammo quantity by type that is utilized in training per blanks, and simulated rounds
3.1.10Trainees per systemIdentify quantity of trainees trained on each system
3.1.11Miles drivenIdentify quantity of miles driven per simulated vehicle
3.1.12Scenarios trainedIdentify quantity for each scenario used for training
3.1.13Mission Essential Tasks (METs) and Training and Readiness (T&R) events trained
3.1.14Scenarios failed by traineesIdentify quantity for each scenario of trainees that fail scenarios
3.2Formal Training Courses
3.2.1Units scheduledUnit designations (unit name and organization)
3.2.2Unit no showUnits who register for and schedule training, but do not show up or cancel less than forty eight (48) hours before training commencement.
3.2.3Individuals scheduledNumber of trainees who register for and schedule academic or practical device training.
3.2.4Individual no showNumber of trainees who register for and schedule training but do not show up.
3.2.5Training disqualificationNumber of trainees who do not commence training due to disqualification.
3.2.6CommenceNumber of trainees that show up training
3.2.7Percentage of non-USMC (U.S. Military)Non-USMC trainees out of the total number trainees that "commence" the training
3.2.8Non-USMC commence (Joint Forces)Number of non-USMC, Joint Forces trainees who show up for training
3.2.9Percentage of non-USMC (Joint Forces)Non-USMC, Joint Forces trainees out of the total number trainees that "commence" the training.
3.2.10Unit recallNumber of trainees who commence a training course, but are recalled from the training from their unit, leave the training site, do not attempt to complete the entire training, and do not complete the course.
3.2.11Med dropNumber of trainees who commence a training course, but leave the training site due to medical reasons, does not attempt to complete the entire training, and do not complete the course.
3.2.12Drop on requestNumber of trainees who commence a training, but provide notice during the training that they will not continue the training, do not attempt to complete the entire training, and do not complete the course.
3.2.13No returnNumber of trainees, who commence training, but leave or fail to return to the training site, do not attempt to complete the entire training, do not complete the course, and do not provide an explanation.
3.2.14Total passNumber of trainees who participate in an entire course, master all course objectives and exercises, and complete the course.
3.2.15LateNumber of trainees who schedule training and show up 30 minutes or more beyond the scheduled training commencement time.
3.3.1Training system operational availability (%) based on contractual definition of operational availability.
