The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Traceability documentation will provide the Government the necessary reports issued for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability of dosimeter calibrations.

This Data Item Description (DID) is applicable to contracts that require documentation of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability in order to fulfill the requirements of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 150 (2020) Procedures and General Requirements, Annex B.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the discrete Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) as delineated in the contract Statement of Work (SOW).

2Format.National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability documentation shall be in the contractor's format.

3Content.The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Traceability shall contain the following content:

3.1National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability documentation shall follow stepwise the requirements of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 150 Annex B.

3.2A preparer, reviewer, and laboratory director shall sign the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability documentation report.
