The verification analysis record provides documentation of problems and improvements noted during test procedure verification. Verification is the last step prior to finalizing test procedures developed under the DOD-STD-2106(NAVY) engineering process.

7.1 This Data Item Description describes data required by 5.2.11.2 of DOD-STD-2106(NAVY).

7.2 The verification analysis record is completed during test procedure verification and provides information on suggested procedure changes and improvements.

Preparation Instructions

10.1Source document.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval date, and dates of any applicable amendments and revisions shall be as reflected in the contract.

10.2Format and content.The verification analysis record shall be completed on NAVSEA Form 3990/2. Content of the verification record shall be in accordance with the requirements of 5.2.11.1 of DOD-STD-2106(NAVY). Handwritten entries are acceptable if clear and legible.
