The Diver's Safety Check List will be used to ensure the proper alignment of ship systems and to alert personnel to the on-going conduct of diving operations.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, content, and preparation instructions for the data product specified in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1FormatThe Diver's Safety Check List shall be in the contractor's format.
2ContentThe Diver's Safety Check List shall include:
2.1Name of ship undergoing hull cleaning.
2.2Date of diving operation.
2.3Text of word to passed over the ship's 1MC prior to commencement of diving operation and every thirty (30) minutes thereafter during diving operation.
2.4List of equipment tagged out for the operation
2.5List of equipment remaining in operation.
2.6List and location of any hull patches and cofferdams installed.
2.7Signatures and dates of signature of Engineering Duty Officer/Command Duty Officer/Officer of the Deck/Diving Supervisor.
3Media RequirementsThe Diver's Safety Check List shall be in Adobe Acrobat (PDF).
