The Critical Safety Item Inspection and Material Certification Report provides a complete document set of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of inspection and certification. These sheets are required for all Critical Safety Items.
This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data product resulting from the work task described in the contract SOW.
This DID supersedes DI-SAFT-81933.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documents.None.
2Format.Contractor's format acceptable.
3.1Title Page, containing the following:
3.1.1Title/identification of the system/component/program/project.
3.1.2Title of CDRL and CDRL number.
3.1.4Preparing activity or contractor's title.
3.1.5Security classification, when required.
3.1.6Distribution Statement.
3.3The body of the report shall contain the following:
3.3.1Completed Inspection Method Sheets.
3.3.2Completed Process/Operations Sheets (when needed by the contractor to document necessary OQE).
3.3.3The recorded results (actual readings and/or measurements) of Quality Conformance and Lot Sampling Inspection for all associated attributes and characteristics that are present in the requirement/drawings and specifications.
3.3.4OQE of Government witness of GSI hold points.
3.3.5Flight Safe certification number/MIC number (when MIC marking is required on the part(s)).
3.3.6May include any other additional OQE (as required to demonstrate that the part(s) conform to the requirements/specifications).
