Is used to immediately notify the Program Manager that a critical non-conformance is found anywhere in the production process. This report relays the pertinent information to the contracting activity where requirements have not been met that could potentially result in an unsafe condition.

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by specific and discrete task requirements as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1FormatThe Notification of Critical Non-conformance Report shall be in the contractor's format.

2ContentThe Notification of Critical Non-conformance Report shall contain:

2.1Prime Contractor name and contact number

2.2Subcontractor name(If defect occurred at a subcontractor).

2.3Item Identity(Part Nomenclature, Drawing Number and Revision).

2.4Specification Requirement(Specification, Paragraph, Characteristic).

2.5Lot identity(Lot number and lot size).

2.6Defect Quantity this Occurrence

2.7Cumulative Defect Quantity

2.8Quantity of Suspect Material(Identify segregated lots and sizes).

2.9Description of Event(Provide a brief description of the non-conformance event that occurred).

3Media requirementsThe Report shall be in Adobe electronic Portable Document Format (pdf), version 2007-2010.
