Description & Purpose

An Amendment to Federal Specification is issued for correction of errors, necessary additions or deletions of words to improve clarity, and changes in requirements. This document is issued or controlled by the General Services Administration (GSA).

Application & Interrelationship

This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract. The Federal Property Management Regulations (FPMR) Handbook 101-29 is available from General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service, Washington, DC 20046.

10.1Reference documentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions shall be as specified in the contract.

10.2FormatThe Amendment to Federal Specification format shall be in accordance with the guidelines of chapter 5, part 11 of FPMR Handbook 101-29.

10.3ContentThe Amendment to Federal Specification shall contain data as required by the guidelines stated in chapter 5, part 11 of FPMR Handbook 101-29.
