The Engineering Release Record (ERR) consists of a listing of newly approved configuration documentation, which, upon approval, is officially authorized for use. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in EIA-649-1 and the principles of EIA-649.

Preparation Instructions

1Reference Documents.The applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.

2Format.The ERR shall be in one of the following formats:

2.1DD Form 2617, Engineering Release Record (ERR),

2.2The schema required by the Acquirer's Integrated Digital Environment (IDE), or

2.3The Supplier's preferred format.

3Content.The ERR shall contain all the information required by DD Form 2617.
