Preparation Instructions
1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatThe report shall be in contractor's format.
3ContentThe Calculated Weight and Balance Report shall be in accordance with the requirements of Society of Allied Weight Engineers (SAWE) Recommended Practice (R.P.) No. 9.
3.1The weight statements in SAWER.P. No. 10, Parts I and II, shall be used for the Calculated Report.
3.2This report shall contain the maximumand minimum weights and moments, with tolerances, for each section, that must be held in order to achieve the desired weight and center of gravity of the assembled missile.
3.3The report shall also contain datato show the weight and balance impact of the complete missile installation on the specified launching aircraft. These data shall be in detail such that the Government can identify the individual electronic units, launching equipment, etc., as well derive the gross weights for the missile carrying conditions (s).
