Provides GERBER Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Data that is required for plotted documentation produced during the design phase. This Data Item Description (DID) contains format and content preparation instructions for the data generated by the discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract; ANSI/IPC-2221, Generic Standard on Printed Board Design; ANSI/IPC-2222-1998, Sectional Standard on Rigid PWB Design; MIL-PRF-31032/4A, Printed Wiring Board, Rigid Flex or Flexible, Multilayer, with Plated Holes, With or Without Stiffeners, for Soldered Part Mounting; and NSA DS-61, Data Standard for Preparation of Engineering Documentation, Revision F and Appendix B Sections 3.7.5.3.1 through 3.7.5.3.3. This DID is used in conjunction with ANSI/IPC-2221 and ANSI/IPC-2222-1998 and is interrelated to DI-CMAN-80639C and DI-CMAN-80640C.

1Reference documentsThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices and revision shall be as cited in the current issue of the DODISS at the time of the solicitation, and for non-DODISS-listed documents as stated herein. NSA DS 61, Revision F, and Appendix B, the current edition, is located at the Department of Defense, National Security Agency, 9800 Savage Rd, Fort George G. Meade, Md 20755-6000; Attn: I5221.

2FormatThe plan shall be in the contractor's format.

3Content

3.1The format and contentshall be in accordance with NSA DS-61, Revision F, and Appendix B, 3.7.5.3.1 through 3.7.5.3.3.

3.2The Printed Wiring Board (PWB) design requirementsshall be in accordance with ANSI/IPC-2221, ANSI/IPC-2222-1998, and MIL-PRF-31032/4A.
