The Course Configuration Documentation Plan will provide an outline to show how the course will be configured.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference DocumentsThe applicable issue of this document cited herein, including its approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatThe Course Configuration Documentation Plan shall be in the contractor's format.
3ContentThe plan shall contain the following:
bFile placementFile naming convention shall not be overly complex. (e.g., clear module folder names and file structure should be easily recognizable.) Files used more than once should reside in the main directory of the course (e.g., Image.gif used in all modules should reside in the image folder within the main directory of the course and not in a module directory.
3.2Course folder shall be broken downCourse folder shall be broken down by module so the government will be able to tell that a particular course file belongs to Module X and is on page Y of that module.
3.3Module foldersModule folders shall contain supporting subfolders (example: flash, source, and image).
