The Test Plan will be used to describe the contractor's testing procedures. These procedures will show measures taken by the contractor to ensure web-based courses developed properly integrate and function within the governments' Learning Management System (LMS). The government will also use this plan to evaluate the contractor's proposed test procedures.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference documentsThe issue of this document cited herein, including its approval dates and dates of any applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as specified in the contract.
2FormatThe Test Plan shall be in the contractor's format.
3ContentThe Test Plan shall contain the following:
3.1An overview of the test objectivesof the test plan, including flow diagrams, milestones, personnel participation to include subject matter experts, locations, and schedules.
3.2The test plan shall contain proceduresto accomplish the following items:
3.2.1Functional testing of the courseware materialson the LMS vendor site as specified in the contract.
3.2.2Hyper links and verificationthat the targeted URL accurately loads.
3.2.3The plan shall also document the navigationwithin the module and that it works correctly throughout each module (i.e., forwards and backwards) and takes the user to the correct destination.
3.2.4The plan shall identify Shareable Content Object (SCO)and that it is compliant and passes all the correct data to the government's LMS at the correct point of time in each SCO.
This information shall consist of at least initialization, finalization, incomplete, complete, student's score, student ID, progress tracking, and book-marking.
