The written course of instruction shall be used to prepare instructions to present training course that certify COMSEC Maintenance Technicians. The contractor presentation of the course will be used to validate the training course of instruction. The training will be prepared as a criterion referenced training.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract and NSA Performance Guide 62-7, entire content.

1Reference DocumentThe applicable issue of the documents cited herein, including their approval dates and dates of applicable amendments, notices, and revisions, shall be as stated herein. The NSA Performance Guide 62-7, the current edition, and NSA Addendum to NSA Performance Guide 62-7, current edition, is located at the National Security Agency, Information Assurance Directorate, 9800 Savage Rd, Suite 6718, Fort Meade, Md. 20755-6718, Attn: I5222, IA Logistics Support.
2FormatShall be in the contractor's format.
3ContentData prepared shall be delivered in accordance with NSA Performance Guide 62-7, for the Preparation of Criterion Referenced Training Course of Instruction. When preparing a Software Maintenance Course of Instruction to support INFOSEC equipment/systems, the use of the NSA Addendum to NSA Performance Guide 62-7, shall be considered.
