This Data Item Description (DID) is applicable to communicate security/Aerospace Vehicular Equipment related to Air Force Satellite Programs. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.
Preparation Instructions
1Reference DocumentsNone.
2FormatThe following format requirements shall apply:
aThe pages shall be prepared (or duplicated)in non-fading ink 8"x10 1/2" or 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Subject to prior government approval, copies of information prepared to other sizes may be acceptable.
bThe document shall be enclosed in a durable plasticthree-ring binder. The security classification of the document shall appear at the top and bottom of both the front and back cover. Security classifications shall appear on all other pages as applicable.
cThe title page shall contain
1)Title of the document, equipment nomenclatures, and serial number
2)Name and signature of the person responsible for compiling the document
3)Name of the preparing activity, contract number and date compilation
dA Table of Contents shall follow the Title Page
eA separate package conforming to above instructionshall be prepared for retrofit or modification actions. This package will show previous operating time from original package.
fInstructions for Entering Data in the Operating Time Log (Fig. 1)
2START TIMETime the test began.
3STOP TIMETime the test was completed.
4TOTAL TIME OF TESTTotal time of the test.
5CUMULATIVE TOTAL TIME OF TESTA running total of all time spent testing the device. It is obtained by adding the previous cumulative total (if any) to the total time for that test.
6REMARKSTo be used to identify the test being reported; problems encountered during the test; or other such information.
3ContentThe data package shall include the following information for the equipment identified in the Statement of Work (SOW):
aSection 1.1 shall contain the operating time log for the equipment (see Fig. 1)Section 1.2 shall contain a complete list of boards and subassemblies incorporated in the equipment. This list shall show parts, number, type, location, serial number and traceability information, verified by Quality Assurance. Section 1.3 shall contain a Record sheet of Permuter showing short title, edition and register installed, verified by Quality Assurance. This sheet shall be used to record any changes of Permuters.
bSection 2 shall contain the final assembly manufacturing order
cSection 3 shall contain records of all failures of boards, subassemblies or equipment and the result of a failure analysis
dSection 4 shall contain records of all non-conforming material reports (Material Review Board Reports), discrepancy reports and dispositions
eSection 5 shall contain all electrical test data sheets for the major subassemblies (Power Converter, etc.) and the end itemCircuit card test data will not be included. Procedures (except for special tests) shall not be included.
fSection 6 shall contain final environmental test data sheets including but not limited to
1)Time/Temperature charts for all thermal and thermal/vacuum tests
2)Spectrum chart for all vibrations tests
3)Specimen test results data sheets
gSection 7 shall contain Quality Assurance check sheetsThe required data shall contain but not limited to:
1)Record of lowest operating voltage of the equipment and current drain at 22, 28, and 33 volts DC
2)Record of internal processing time and internal processing and output time (as applicable)
3)This section will not contain quality plans, etc
hSection 8 shall contain any supplemental information which provides equipment historyThis shall include but not limited to:
1)Copies of correspondence concerning waivers, deviations, engineering change proposals, special tests, etc
2)Record of special tests and results
3)List of waivers, deviations, and ECPs
iSection 9 shall contain blank operating time log forms for subsequent useThese forms shall be prepared in accordance with figure 1 of this DID.
