The Professional Engineering (PE) Analysis Report provides results of technical studies, and of structural analysis performed. The report is certified and stamped by a professional engineer (PE) and provides assurance to the government that all of the specified requirements have been met.

This data item description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task requirement as delineated in the contract.

Preparation Instructions

1FormatThe Professional Engineering Analysis Report shall be in the Contractor's format.

2ContentThe report shall contain a title page.

2.1The title page shall specify the following

2.1.1Contract number

2.1.2Delivery order

2.1.3Project name

2.1.4Purchase description title

2.1.5Task number

2.2IntroductionThe report shall contain an "Introduction" with a brief description of the analysis performed.

2.3Design StandardThe report shall contain a "Design Standard" section and shall identify all government and industry specifications and standards used for design and loading.

2.4Structural AnalysisThe report shall contain a "Structural Analysis" section and a brief statement of the results obtained from the structural analysis.

2.5ConclusionThe report shall contain a "Conclusion" of the condensed technical substantiations.

2.6PE CertificationThe report shall contain "PE Certification" information specifying the following:

2.6.1PE contact information

2.6.2State registered professional license stamp with expiration date

2.6.3PE signature and date
