The Provisioning Technical Documentation Submission Schedule (PTDSS) establishes the schedule of important actions and completion dates in the provisioning process and includes a checklist of events schedules in the provisioning process that are used to monitor such events. PTDSS are used to schedule various actions in the provisioning process that are interdependent, since a delay in one area can have a serious cumulative effect on the schedule for making concurrent delivery of repair parts and equipment.
This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format, intended use information, and content preparation instructions for the data product generated by the specific and discrete task described in the solicitation or contract.
This DID is applicable to all Coast Guard contracts for the acquisition of cutters and boats and should be tailored appropriately to each program.
Preparation Instructions
1FormatThe PTDSS shall be in Contractor's format.
2ContentThe PTDSS shall contain a list in chronological order starting with the major events in the provisioning process, established completion dates for each action, listed number of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) submissions, and the proposed schedule for PTD submission.
2.1.1The PTDSS shall identify each PTD submissionThe PTDSS shall identify each PTD submission to its Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) and component nomenclature. The dates shall be identified and shall take into account the elements of time set forth in the contract for delivery of end item equipment, data product Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, and the Provisioning Performance Schedule (PPS) requirements.

2.1.3The PTDSS items that were mutually agreedThe PTDSS items that were mutually agreed to shall be identified.
